The Foreign Minister will meet with his Armenian counterpart and will be received by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan
In the Yerevan the Minister of Foreign Affairs Giorgos passes by Gerapetritis where he will hold talks on Wednesday January 10 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
The Foreign Minister will also be received by prime minister her of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, according to a relevant statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit of Mr Gerapetritis reaffirms the narrow ones bonds of friendship of the two peoples, as diplomatic sources emphasize.
It is noted that the two ministers are in close contact with telephone conversations and meetings. They met for the first time on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly last September.
In December, the Armenian Foreign Minister was invited to a working breakfast with the EU Foreign Ministers at the initiative of Mr. Gerapetritis.
Greece supports the territorial integrity of Armenia and the efforts to restart the Baku-Yerevan talks.
Greece as an EU member state can also help promote Armenia-EU relations by providing expertise and assistance, according to the same sources.
