Barrage of arrests for two deadly bombings in Kerman Iranian authorities announced on Thursday.

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced that it had “detected and arrested 35 perpetrators and supporters of the terrorist attack in Kerman”.

A few days ago, 11 people were arrested about the terrorist attack in Kerman.

In a statement, the ministry said the 35 people were arrested in the Iranian provinces Kerman, Sistan and Baluchistan, Khorasan Razavi, Isfahan, Tehran and West Azerbaijan reports the IRNA agency.

“Many other elements (s.s people) connected to the two suicide bombings have been located abroad”he said, adding that “the forces take the necessary measures to arrest them”.

The attacks took place on January 3, the anniversary of the assassination of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in a US drone strike in Iraq in 2020.

Two explosions went off on a route leading to Soleimani’s tomb as people gathered for the anniversary of his death. So far, they have 93 dead have been confirmed, while another 284 people have been injured.

The Islamic State terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attacks which have drawn international condemnation from around the world.
