A famous orchestra conductor in Britain, Jan Leitham Koenig, was charged yesterday with committing sexual offenses against a minor, London police announced today.
The 70-year-old conductor, who was arrested at London’s Victoria train station on Wednesday, has been charged with facilitating the sexual offense of a minor and having sexual intercourse with a child, according to Scotland Yard.
The arrested man, who was brought before a judge in London today, was restricted during the hearing to confirm his identity.
He was released on bail pending a hearing in the case in February.
