“Unfortunately” the mystery of the two skeletons ended that were spotted last fall in Peru fueling speculation that it was evidence of extraterrestrial life.

The two objects, which looked like small gray humanoids with three fingers on each hand, were seized by Peruvian border guards in a shipment bound for Mexico.

By order of the Peruvian prosecutor’s office, they were sent for analysis to medical examiners, and the results found no extraterrestrial life.

According to forensic analysisas reported by the Daily Mail, these are dolls made of paper, glue, metal and human and animal bones.

Forensic archaeologist Flavio Estrada, who led the analysis, said claims that the two objects are derived from other words are “completely false”.

“The conclusion is simple: these are assembled dolls with animal bones from this planetwith modern synthetic adhesives, so they were not assembled during the pre-Hispanic era.
