In the field of “extreme sports” a momentary mistake, a little carelessness, there is a risk that it will cost you your life. The reason for the accident of the Slovenian Boris Oravec who is popular on the social media of his country for his achievements.
Such an incident happened about a month ago, when Oravec attempted to cover a distance under a frozen lake in the Vysoké Tatry area. The young athlete’s plan was to dive into the icy waters from one hole in the ice and get out of another, several meters away, but in theory it was a feasible – for him – achievement.
However, the 30-year-old’s dive turned into a nightmare, as he was disoriented shortly before the exit hole. In the video, his friends and associates are seen madly hitting the ice, trying to direct him to the exit before he loses consciousness due to suffocation. Eventually his excellent physical condition and composure saved Oravec, who returned to the entrance hole using a rope.
It is noted that a Ukrainian drowned in front of his own wife’s eyes after diving into a hole in the ice, in a river, but without being able to return to the surface …
