He will be the first American which will interview Putin since the start of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine, which began almost two years ago.
He emphasized that Elon Musk has assured him that the interview will not be censored and will be posted normally on X.
“Does Tucker really believe that we journalists? we weren’t trying to get an interview by President Putin every day since his invasion of Ukraine?’ was CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour’s rhetorical question. “It’s outrageous – we will continue to ask for an interview, as we have done for years” she pointed out annoyed.
CNN asked Carlson on Tuesday because he slanders the press falsely claiming that journalists are not interested in interviewing Putin or reporting on Russia. CNN also asked him if during the meeting he asked Putin about the jailing of American journalist E.van Gershkowitz. Carlson didn’t answer.
Does Tucker really think we journalists haven’t been trying to interview President Putin every day since his full scale invasion of Ukraine? It’s absurd — we’ll continue to ask for an interview, just as we have for years now. https://t.co/pW8F2zbq1i
