The presidents of France and Ukraine Emmanuel Macron and Volodymyr Zelensky discussed today during a telephone conversation the situation at the front and the “needs of Ukraine” in arms and ammunition.
“We talked about the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine’s defense needs, which include drones, artillery weapons and ammunition, electronic warfare systems and anti-aircraft systems,” Zelensky wrote in a message to Kh.
He described the phone call as “very positive and clear”, thanking France for its “unwavering support”.
The Elysee confirmed that the two leaders discussed “the development of the situation in the field and the needs of Ukraine.”
“The president of the Republic reiterated France’s determination to offer all the necessary support, at a long-term level and with all of its partners, in order to fail Russia’s war”, according to the same source.
