“Very concerned” about the situation in the Rafah of the Gaza Strip and the attacks that Israel is planning, said the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary David Cameron, calling on the country’s government to stop and think.

Lord Cameron said it was “impossible to imagine how you can make a war between these people” in Rafah, who have moved “four and five and six times” to get there and now “there is nowhere for them to go”.

As he said, “we want Israel to stop and think very seriously before taking any further action.”

“Above all what we want is an immediate pause in the fighting, we want to see that pause lead to a ceasefire, a sustainable ceasefire without a return to further conflict,” Lord Cameron continued.

He finally referred to the need to release the Hamas hostages and distribute more humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
