The government of Georgia Meloni continues the dialogue with the Italian farmers, which started last Friday. As announced, in addition to the proposal for a full tax exemption for farmers with an annual income of up to 10,000 euros, the government of Rome added – through the Ministry of Agriculture – that it is willing to reduce by 50% the taxes for farmers with an annual income of 10 up to 15 thousand euros.

Representatives of the “Agricultural Liberation” organization made it known that within the next two or three days, they intend to withdraw their tractors from Italian roads.

But at the same time, the “Betrayed Farmers” – who come mainly from southern and central Italy – have confirmed that on Thursday they will demonstrate en masse in the center of Rome, along with fishermen, truck drivers and freelancers.

“Our government is solid, despite some different nuances in the positions of the parties that compose it,” said Georgia Meloni.

According to information, the Italian Prime Minister wants to sign an agreement with the farmers who have come to dialogue, as soon as possible.
