On whether he prefers difficult games: “All the games strain us, especially in such difficult venues. We knew we wouldn’t have an easy task. For us, training is the competition. We do our job. Our goal is to win every game, whether in the Euroleague or in the championship. We have the Cup now. We will go concentrated to win the Cup”.

For the fatigue that exists: “We don’t think about that. We are all experienced. We don’t complain, we get paid well. This is all our work. We get paid to do this. We come to the stadium to enjoy it and we always want to leave victorious.”

For his own improved image and what changed: “I think this year’s team is better, more complete. We come from the bench and are helped by the most experienced. I know my job and I go in and do it. Everyone wants to put up 20 points. And the kids at home, who see us, want to be Nan or Mike James. I want it myself, we all want to score. However, this year we built an offensive team, as I have often seen written, but we also manage to put the defensive part in the Euroleague. We stop our opponents at 60-65 points. It is something very important. I want us to continue to see the game like this.”

For his team’s defense: “We’ve bonded as a team, we’ve been together for a long time now. We help each other, the coaches also help us, who emphasize defense. We have bonded, we have very good chemistry on and off the court. We go in, we win the games, we leave and we’re very happy.”
