Peruvian nurse and mother of three-month-old baby accused of castrating her partner after an argument over his alleged infidelity.
The 39-year-old is accused of she cut off her boyfriend’s penis with a kitchen knife while he sleptaccording to dailymail.
The accused nurse, in fact she took him injured to the hospital where they both work last weekend.
Authorities in the city of Chota, in northern Peru, they said they are investigating and that the accused has been released on bail to take care of their baby.
“We await the results of the investigation to determine the motive and circumstances of the events”said Darinka Losio, prosecutor for the attack.
Local media, citing police reports, said the alleged attacker was arguing with her boyfriend after he returned home drunk, believing he was unfaithful. She then allegedly attacked him in a fit of rage after he fell asleep.
“He had a traumatic amputation, was given medical attention and will receive psychiatric support”a medical source said. “We are outraged, we want justice. My nephew’s penis was cut off”the man’s uncle told local media.
