Moscow: “Empty and unfounded” war scenarios… Unless there are “provocations”

by

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peshkov described the scenarios for a Russian attack as “empty and unfounded” on Tuesday. “They serve as a ploy to escalate tensions,” he said, adding that Russia “poses absolutely no threat to anyone.”

However, Peshkov still did not rule it out “Possibility of provocation” which “aims to justify such allegations”, and warned that “efforts to use military force to resolve the crisis in south-eastern Ukraine will have serious consequences”.

“They over-advertise war scenarios”

“War scenarios are deliberately advertised, and for a specific reason,” said Russian Ambassador to Italy Sergei Razov, who made it clear that Moscow was not backing down on Ukraine’s accession to NATO.

Moscow intends to continue talks on security guarantees, which are Russia’s priority, Sergei Razov said in an interview with RAI 1.

“Western leaders, including German Chancellor Olaf Soltz, have said that Ukraine’s accession to NATO is not an issue today. But what will happen tomorrow or the day after tomorrow? “There are no guarantees, and that is why Russia will continue talks on these issues, which are a priority for Russia,” he said.

Razov claimed that Russia conducts annual military exercises in about the same areas.

It is recalled that today the West estimated that Russia would invade Ukraine, a catastrophic scenario, which for the time being, seems to be receding with diplomacy gaining ground.

“As far as Russia is concerned, I can assure you that there will be no attack today Wednesday. “There will be no escalation next week or next – not next month,” EU Ambassador Vladimir Tsizov told Die Welt, published in a German newspaper.

The sermon of Joe Biden

Indicative is the disgust of Joe Biden during his sermon yesterday. “The United States is ready, no matter what happens. We are ready with diplomacy, engage in diplomacy with Russia and our allies and partners to improve stability and security in Europe as a whole. And we are ready to answer decisively in a possible Russian attack on Ukraine, which is still very likely. “All the events of the last weeks and months, this was our approach and it remains our approach now,” said the American president.

At the same time, the West is trying to interpret the moves of Vladimir Putin, who, before meeting with Olaf Solz, harshly commented on US scenarios for an impending Russian invasion. “Isn’t the exact time when the war will start being published?” He said characteristically.
