Powerful earthquake magnitude 4.6 Richter noted at noon on Tuesday at Western Turkey, in the town of Biga in Canakkale (Dardanelli).

According to the latest information from the Turkish Emergency Management Agency (AFAD), the earthquake has a focal depth of 7 kilometers.

So far there are no reports of serious damage.

The Minister of the Interior, Ali Gerlikaya, with his post on X he noted: “In the earthquake of magnitude 4.6 that occurred in Biga of Canakkale, AFAD and all the teams of our competent bodies started on-site scans. Currently there is no negative status. We are monitoring the developments. My warmest wishes to our citizens who were affected by the earthquake.”
