A show of force from Moscow. Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on Friday that it had acted successful nuclear intercontinental ballistic missile test.

“At the Plesetsk State Test Cosmodrome, the crew of the Yoshkar-Ola missile force conducted a training combat launch of a solid-fuel mobile intercontinental ballistic missile PGRK Yars equipped with a multiple warhead” stated in the announcement.

Training combat units arrived at the designated area at the Kura training ground on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

The purpose of the launch was to confirm the tactical, technical and flight characteristics of the modern missile system (…)

All tasks assigned were fully completed” concludes the Russian announcement.
