Terror in Poland. A car crashed in the afternoon in a crowd at a crossing of the city of Szczecin. At least 19 people have been injuredsome of them children, with two in critical condition.

Among the injured are six children. Two of the injured are hospitalized in critical condition, the governor told reporters Adam Rudafsky.

The driver of the vehicle, who sped away after the accident, was arrested. It’s about a Polish citizen, resident of Szczecin, 33 years old.

“This is not a terrorist act,” assured Szczecin police spokesman Pavel Pankau. According to him, the 33-year-old crashed his car, a Ford Focus, into a group of people waiting for the tram in a large city square. Initial analyzes show that he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Eyewitnesses said that the driver entered the square at high speed, the car veered off course, crossed the pedestrian crossing, climbed onto the sidewalk and tram lines, dragging people away.

Immediately after, the 33-year-old tried to escape in his vehicle but at a distance of about one kilometer he caused another accident, as he collided with three cars and injured their drivers.
