“The IDF has completed its preliminary investigation into the unfortunate incident in which civilians in Gaza were trampled to death and injured as they ran towards the humanitarian aid convoy,” Israeli military spokesman Vice Admiral Daniel Hagari said.

The investigation, which gathered information from commanders and forces on the ground, concluded that there was no strike in the direction of the convoy, he added.

“The majority of Palestinians were killed or injured due to the tramplingHagari pointed out.
