The “Biden camp” leaves behind on “Super Tuesday”, with the American president recognizing him Donald Trump as his opponent in the presidential election, with a new vicious attack launched against him.

The winner in 14 of the 15 States was the Democratic politician, dominant in 12 the Republican.

Biden’s staff describes Trump as “hurt, dangerous and unpopular” in his Super Tuesday memo, despite the fact that the Republican dominates, with challenger Nikki Haley only managing to win one state.

“We have a clear path to victory” said the memo, signed by Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon and campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez. The note notes that Nikki Haley’s “resilience” in the Republican primaries to date is clear evidence that Trump faces a hard “ceiling” in terms of support from traditional GOP (Grand Old Party – Republican) voters.

“A significant percentage of moderates and Haley voters across the country say Trump he cannot count on their votes in a general election,” the note argued.

Biden aides say in the memo that as the general election nears, the president’s campaign will “engage aggressively” with exactly these voters.

The memo too downplays a number of troubling findings in the polls for the current president.

A new New York Times poll over the weekend showed Biden trailing Trump, 48%-43%, but also found that 10% were undecided – number which according to the campaign “is promising for Biden”.

The November elections, the note states, “will be a very tough general election contest like all modern presidential elections … but, we have a clear path to victory.”

“We’re going to keep moving forward or we’re going to let Donald Trump to drag us back into chaos, the division and darkness that defined his tenure?’ Joe Biden asked himself this morning. He mentioned the “progress” achieved under his leadership and added: “If Donald Trump returns to the White House, all this progress is at risk,” the American president pointed out.
