Almost 30 countries will participate this afternoon in session dedicated to support in Ukraine organized by France, as disclosed by the entourage of the French foreign minister.

A total of “28 countries will be represented, 21 at the ministerial level by their foreign minister or their defense minister”, it was clarified.

This session will take place from 16:00 to 18:00 local time (17:00 to 19:00 Greek time) via video conferencing, added Stéphane Cezournet’s environment.

This follows an international meeting in support of Ukraine, which was held in Paris on February 26, at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron.

Today’s debates they will cover munitions, rules for their storage, cyberspace, border protection, protection of vulnerable states, demining, industrial production in Ukraine and missiles, according to the same source.

Among the participants will be the ministers of foreign and defense of Ukraine, the head of diplomacy of Poland, the minister of defense of Italy, while Germany will be represented by a deputy minister.

France insists on the need to redouble efforts to support Ukraine in order to defeat Russia. It also underlines the need to help Ukraine’s neighboring countries.

tomorrow friday the French foreign minister will also travel to Vilnius for a meeting with his Baltic counterparts, as well as his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba.

On Tuesday he had met his German counterpart Analena Burbock in Paris.

During the meeting in Paris on February 26, the president Emmanuel Macron had sparked intense belligerence by refusing to rule out the option of sending Western forces to Ukraine in the future.

Stephane Cezournet had assured in an interview with the French newspaper “Le Mont” last Saturday that there is “no conflict” between Germany and France regarding Ukraine, while Berlin categorically ruled out the possibility of sending troops to the territory of Ukraine.
