French Foreign Minister Stephane Cezournet points out that “the crisis is already having consequences” for French and European citizens
After two years of conflict Russia is becoming increasingly aggressive, warns the French foreign minister in an interview with the French newspaper La Tribune Stéphane Cezournet, pointing out that “the crisis is already having consequences” for French and European citizens in energy prices and purchasing power, but also that it would be much worse if Ukraine collapsed. “Therefore, Russia should not and therefore cannot win,” emphasizes the French minister.
On the implications for the Ukraine war of a potential return of Trump to the US, Cezournet points out that “Europeans have an interest in organizing ourselves and asking ourselves what we will do together to help Ukraine regardless of the scenario of the American elections, but also to protect other threatened countries such as the Baltics or Moldova”.

To address the end of Russian attacks in cyberspace, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France states, among other things, that “We are the subject of two types of attacks. There are attacks on information and fake news, which will multiply. Then there are IT attacks. Together with the Poles and the Germans, we decided to share all the attacks that are being made against us in the fields of information and IT.”
