Seizure of more than 18 million euros imposed on Marcello dell’Utri, Silvio Berlusconi’s friend, advisor and former senator of his party from the Prosecutor’s Office of Florence.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, dell’Utri was convicted of external cooperation in a mafia-style network – under the relevant law, he should have reported any transactions of any amount over €10,330, which the former senator allegedly failed to do.

Specifically, the undeclared income includes “interest-free loans” that Silvio Berlusconi had paid to the Dell’Utri family, as well as the amount of 30,000 euros per month.

The total amount of the Berlusconi and del Utri transactions exceeds 42.5 million euros.

At the same time, La Repubblica speaks of a seizure of more than 20 million euros, and summarizes that Silvio Berlusconi’s calculation of the total amount of the dell’Utri’s earnings “excludes the bequest of 30 million euros indicated by Cavaliere in his will in favor of his friend-counselor”.
