A video of the interrogation of one of those arrested for the massacre at the concert venue in a suburb of Moscow yesterday, was made public via Telegram by the editor-in-chief of Russia Today, Margarita Simonyan.

The suspect in the interrogation video can be seen answering a series of questions in heavily accented Russian. He says he left Turkey on March 4 and received instructions from strangers via Telegram to carry out the attack in exchange for money.

The man can be seen shaking during the interrogation. He is initially seen lying face down with his hands behind his back and his chin resting on the boot of a man wearing a camouflage uniform. Later, he is on his knees.

Another man with cuts and bruises on his face can be seen being questioned through an interpreter while sitting on a bench handcuffed.

The same time the RIA NOVOSTI agency reported that the death toll from the attack reached 143.

The Russian news agency Tass on its Telegram account regarding the latest news about the terrorist attack in Moscow says: “11 people were arrested who were involved in the crime, including four directly involved. They were spotted on their way to the border with Ukraine, where, according to security officials, they “had relevant contacts”.

One of the prisoners said he committed the crime “for money, about 500,000 rubles [5.000 ευρώ]. He said they contacted him via Telegram and provided him with weapons.”

As the British Guardian newspaper notes, “the statements attributed by the Russian agency to one of the suspects come from various unverified videos circulating on Telegram and social media and allegedly recording the arrest and interrogation of several of the suspects in the area Bryansk, southwest of Moscow.”

THE Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for yesterday’s attack, the deadliest in Russia in the last 20 years. However, according to the Russian side there are indications of a connection with Ukraine, despite the announcement by the adviser to the Ukrainian president Mykhailo Podoliak that Kiev has nothing to do with it.

Russia’s Federal Security Service announced earlier that “as a result of the actions of special services and law enforcement agencies, 11 people were arrested, including 4 terrorists who were directly involved in the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall. After committing the terrorist attack, the criminals intended to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border and had relevant contacts from the Ukrainian side. The investigation into the terrorist attack continues.”

The death toll rose to 115

At the same time, the death toll from the attack has risen to 115, according to the Russian Investigative Committee, of which three are children, while 121 people are estimated to be hospitalized, of which 44 are in a serious condition. However, according to Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow region, the number of victims could “significantly increase”.

At the same time, the Commission confirmed according to Tass that the terrorists used automatic weapons during the attack and that they also used a flammable liquid to set fire to the building. In fact, according to the Federal Security Service of Russia, some were killed by the shots and some were burned by the fire that broke out.

Since the morning dozens of citizens have been going to the place of the massacre where the investigations of the Authorities continue to leave a flower.
