In a lengthy post on social media, the presidential adviser of Ukraine Mikaylo Podoliak reiterated that Kiev had nothing to do with the Crocus Concert Hall terrorist attack, saying “any attempts to link Ukraine to the terrorist attack are completely unfounded.”

“Ukraine has nothing to do with this incident. Ukraine has a full-scale war with Russia, and it will solve the problem of Russian aggression (aggression, by the way, with a deliberate terrorist component) on the battlefield. The versions of the Russian special services about Ukraine are absolutely baseless and absurd” mentions among other things.

Russia’s Federal Security Service, in a statement earlier, referred to Ukrainian “contacts” of the suspects in the massacre at the concert venue.

“As a result of the actions of special services and law enforcement agencies, 11 people were arrested, including 4 terrorists who were directly involved in the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall. After committing the terrorist attack, the criminals intended to cross the Russian-Ukrainian border and had relevant contacts from the Ukrainian side. The investigation into the terrorist attack continues.”
