The British Prime Minister’s nephew Rishi Sunak has become one of the world’s youngest multi-millionaires at just four months old.

According to a DailyMail report, his grandfather NR Narayana Murthy, who is Sunak’s father-in-law, gifted his grandson a staggering £22 million stake in his profitable IT company.

Born in November 2023, the baby is the son of Mr Murthy’s son Rohan and his wife Aparna Krishnan, who now joins the list of multi-millionaire babies.

Ekagrah, which means unwavering focus and determination in Sanskrit, is Murthy’s third grandchild. His daughter Akshata married Sunak in 2009 and has two children with him, Krishna and Anoushka.

It is not known whether both of Sunak’s daughters have also been gifted millions of pounds worth of shares by their wealthy grandfather in IT company Infosys, which is worth close to £80bn. However, their mother Akshata has already benefited from her father Murthy’s generosity as she herself owns just over 1 per cent of Infosys shares, worth around £500m, which last year earned her a staggering 13, £5m from dividends.

Her younger brother Rohan owns more than £600 million worth of shares in Infosys, while her mother Sudha is also a substantial shareholder, making the Murthys one of India’s richest and most powerful families.

The news of the lavish gift given to the baby will further add to the claims that the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak is out of touch with the common people because of his family and personal wealth. In addition to the riches enjoyed by his in-laws, he is also a multi-millionaire himself after a successful career in finance before entering politics.

The couple also own four homes in the UK and California, worth around £15million, including a 19th-century mansion in North Yorkshire and an oceanfront penthouse in Santa Monica.
