British justice will announce tomorrow whether to grant the WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange the right of a final appeal against his extradition to the US, where he is being prosecuted for a massive leak of documents under a 1917 espionage law.
After a two-day hearing in February, two of his judges of the High Court in London, Victoria Sharp and Jeremy Johnsonare expected to announce their decision from 12.30 Greek time, according to the court agenda published today.
They are expected to decide whether or not to grant the 52-year-old Australian the right to appeal his extradition to the US, which the British government accepted in June 2022.
If defeated, Julian Assange will appeal to European Court of Human Rights in hopes of delaying his extradition, according to his wife Stella Assange.
