Canada: Police ‘secured’ downtown Ottawa – Protesters evacuated

The protesters initially wanted to end the implementation of COVID-19 mandatory control measures for truck drivers, but the blockade turned into a demonstration against Trinto and the government.

The detainees are facing 389 different criminal charges, including charges of obstructing police, disobeying court orders, assault, damage to foreign property, possession of a weapon, and assault on a police officer, Steve Bell told reporters. Ottawa Police Chief.
