Hossein Amir Abdullahian further downplayed strike – warning of Israel with F-15 fighters at Isfahan air base
THE Iranian Minister Foreign Hossein Amir Abdullahian – in an interview with the American network NBC – yesterday further downplayed the strike on the airbase in Isfahan, likening the drones used to “children’s toys”.
He also did not blame the Israelclaiming that “the information reported by the media was not accurate.”
However, Israeli sources told SKAI’s Stavros Ioannidis that they did launch an attack in Isfahan, hitting the base that is very close to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities in the same area.
In addition, according to information, Israel’s attack on the Isfahan air base was carried out with fighter jets and not with drones
Hossein Amir Abdullahian, who traveled to New York to attend a meeting of the UN Security Council, told NBC that Iran is not planning to retaliateunless Israel launches an attack on its own country.
He warned Israel that if it attacks Iran, Tehran’s response will be immediate and harsh.
“If Israel takes decisive action against my country” and “provided this is proven,” then “our response will be immediate and to the fullest extent, and will make them regret it.”
Strike – strike warning in Isfahan
By not attacking the actual nuclear site in Isfahan or other nuclear facilities in the country, Jerusalem signaled to Iran that it is not seeking a vicious and escalating regional war.
Also the Isfahan attack was designed primarily to make extremely clear how vulnerable it is to an attack on its nuclear facilities.
