“Battle” of invincibles in Heraklion for the 5th matchday of the Stoiximan Super League playouts!

Tonight at 18:30 at “Theodoros Vardinogiannis” of Heraklion (Cosmote Sport 1, sport-fm.gr, bwinSPORT FM), OFI welcomes the tough Volos in the match that opens the program.

The two teams have resisted this process of playouts after four matches counting only draws and wins. On the one hand, the Cretans are in 4th place in the process with 31 points and come from a 2-2 draw with Panserraikos. On the other side, Volos is more at risk, however, with two wins and the same number of draws, it remains on track to stay, being at 29 points and +2 from the danger zone.

For the home team, the preparation went smoothly with Traianos Dellas not counting on Yiannis Apostolakis at the last minute, who received a blow to the gastrocnemius and was left out of the mission.

On the contrary, Juan Neira, who returned after his injury, was included in the squad as usual, but he will hardly be in the starting line-up.

Among others, Ilias Simantirakis, who continued his individual program, as well as the unprepared Matheus Bressan, Jesus Jimenez, were left out of the plans. At the same time, Kostas Giannoulis, Dimitris Sotiriou, Andreas Adamakis, Manuel Kalafatis and Titos Koutentakis were left out of the mission.

Traianos Dellas included in the mission of their OFI: Christogeorgos, Bauman, Lousao, Marinaki, Vouros, Thorarinson, Lampropoulos, Abada, Gagegos, Neira, Toral, Riera, Meyado, Glaser, Bakics, Baku, Iseka, Felipe, Mosquera and Theodosoulakis.

For Volos, the match once again has the character of a “final”, since in the event of a victory, staying in the Stoiximan Super League for the new season is also mathematically guaranteed. Christos Conti’s team has managed to live up to it, leaving with victories from Agrinio and Tripoli.

Christos Kontis announced a 20-member mission which included the following: Kovacs, Kostic, Alho, Mygas, Kalogeropoulos, Aslanidis, Rasic, Luna, Kitsos, De Camps, Bertoglio, Glavcic, Tsokanis, Barrientos, Koba, Trouier, Asechnoun, Popescu, Moraitis, Garcia.

The possible lineups:
