At least two people died today and six others were injured in a shooting incident at a party in a neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, according to the police.
“During the ensuing investigation, we determined there were a total of 8 victims, two of whom had died at the scene,” Memphis police said in a post on Platform X. One of the injured remains in critical condition, according to the police.

“There was a party going on without a permit,” police said. About 200-300 people had gathered at this point.
Police are looking for at least two suspects, according to CBS News. “We believe there are at least two people who fired shots during the incident,” Memphis’ interim police chief told CBS News Cerelyn Davis.
