Ecuador’s attorney general’s office and the national police announced today that arrested the notorious alleged leader of the Los Lobos gang, Fabricio Colón Pico Suarez, who had escaped from prison in January.

THE Picowho is accused of was planning an attack on the attorney general, among other crimes, he had escaped from a penitentiary in Riobamba amid a wave of violence that had broken out across Ecuador, including gunmen storming a television station during a live broadcast.
According to the police he was arrested in Puerto Quito, Pichincha Province.
Pico, where is he? known in the underworld as Captain Picoaccording to the authorities, was on the list of the most dangerous criminals in the country.
Two other prisoners who escaped with Pico were captured during the same time periodthe attorney general’s office announced in a post on X.
Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa won the support of his voters last weekend for a series of security measures that he says will help him fight skyrocketing crime.
