The final video shows Goldberg-Paulin sitting in a chair and addressing the camera
Hamas released video of Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Paulin on Wednesday, confirming that he is alive despite being seriously injured in his October 7 abduction.
Goldberg-Paulin, then 23, was abducted from the Nova music festival during Hamas attacks in Israel, when more than 1,200 people died and more than 200 people were taken hostage.
Hersh Goldberg Polin is ALIVE!

Hamas monsters released a new video of him.
I am showing only the initial part (excluding all the vile propaganda they made him say)Let’s go get him! pic.twitter.com/oPSApfzLCB

In the undated video, he is shown with part of his hand amputated. Another video shot on October 7 shows Goldberg-Paulin with his arm badly injured. According to the testimony of a young woman who was in a shelter with him when Hamas attacked, Goldberg-Paulin helped throw grenades outside before having his arm amputated from the elbow down.
The final video shows Goldberg-Paulin sitting in a chair and addressing the camera. Gesturing with his injured hand, he states his name, gives his date of birth and the names of his parents.
He says he’s “been here for almost 200 days,” implying the video was shot shortly before Tuesday, the 200th day of the war.
Goldberg-Paulin’s hair is cropped close in the video, which is edited with close-ups and long shots.
He criticizes the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu, as other Israeli hostages have done in Hamas propaganda videos.
It shows Israeli government ministers sitting down to celebratory dinners with their families, an apparent reference to the Jewish holiday of Passover, which began Monday night and is traditionally celebrated with a family dinner.
He urges his family to stay strong for him and ends by saying he hopes he was able to give them some comfort over the holidays.
