Devastating floods hit Kenya due to El Niño
At least 42 people were killed in Kenya when a dam broke north of the capital Nairobi in Mai Mahiu district, the local governor told AFP, as the country was hit by deadly torrential rains.
“42 dead is a provisional count. There are others trapped in the mud that we are working to pull out,” Governor Susan Kihika said.
