To leave Russia as soon as possible because of the danger military escalation of tension with Moscow called the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
“The ministry urges Ukrainian citizens to avoid any trip to Russia and those who are already there to leave immediately,” he said in a statement.
At the same time, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba called on the West to impose more sanctions on Russia, which will target the country’s economy and the close circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The first decisive steps were taken yesterday and we are grateful for that,” Kuleba said in a Twitter post. “To be hit hard. To be hit now,” he stressed.
Western countries announced on Tuesday the first new sanctions against Russia after Moscow recognized the independence of the breakaway provinces in eastern Ukraine and threatened to impose new ones if Russia invades its neighboring country.
