Bahaa Okasha worked for the Al-Aqsa Network and was killed when his family’s home in the Jabalya settlement was hit by an Israeli airstrike
Number 143… Name Bahaa Okasha. Another photojournalist who loses her life in Gaza after October 7th.
Bahaa Okasha was working for the Al-Aqsa network and was killed when his family’s home in the Jabalya camp was hit in an Israeli airstrike, Arab media reported.
We are now talking about the deadliest period for journalists since 1992, when the Committee to Protect Journalists began collecting data.
Many journalists in Gauze they risk their lives to do their job. Record the facts. Some are forced to work without equipment, with only their phones as a medium.
Others have to move to a better spot, usually in the hills or mountains, when uploading videos, in an attempt to avoid interference while the Israelis continue their relentless shelling.
Displaced journalists working in makeshift tents are even more at risk of being exposed to Israeli strikes, as the numbers prove starkly.
Bahaa Okasha… number 143 of the October 7. And the war continues…
