Tough hand-to-hand combat between Indian and Chinese soldiers, which do not refer to a modern conflict, but to a much older one, maybe even in the… stone age as sticks, sticks and stones are used as weapons, they saw the light of day.
China and India claim a border area in Ladakh and Tibet. At the height of tensions between the two superpowers over these territories a few years ago, soldiers became involved in a hand-to-hand fight, resorting to the use of improvised weapons to fight for strategic positions.
The Chinese forces, recognizable by the Type 95 assault rifles slung around their backs, appeared reluctant to use the weapons even as they tried to retake a hill from stone-pelting Indian troops.
Although the Chinese were exposed to the stones and rocks of the defenders they send waves of troops to climb the hill, and at one point they are seen overpowering the Indians, whom they push off the top before the video cuts away. Then a captured Indian soldier is seen surrounded by uniformed Chinese soldiers.
