In the shadow of the Russian attack on Ukraine, NATO announced a few hours ago that it is developing more defense ground, air and naval forces in the east of the alliance to protect its allies.
In announcement issued by the North Atlantic Council, NATO’s main political decision-making body, states: “Russia’s actions pose a serious threat to Euro-Atlantic security and will have geostrategic consequences.
NATO will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the security and defense of all Allies.
We are deploying additional ground and air defense forces in the eastern part of the Alliance, as well as additional naval means. “We have increased the readiness of our forces to respond to all contingencies.”
