A message of power in every direction it seems to send France. The French armed forces today Wednesday carried out the first test launch of an upgraded ASMPA-R air-to-surface missile medium range, which is capable of carrying a nuclear chargethe Minister of Defense announced Sebastian Lecorny.
The new generation ASMPA-R missile was launched by Rafale fighter jet of the strategic forces of the Air Force during an exercise carried out on French territory which included simulated nuclear attack.

France plans to spend the next few years or so 13% of its defense budget to enhance nuclear deterrence capability, including upgrading air-to-surface missiles by 2035.
Greece also has Rafale fighter jets. It is a twin-engine, hang-gliding, multi-role combat aircraft, of French manufacture, covering the entire range of operational missions. It joined the PA arsenal in 2021, and Athens procured 24 aircraft.
