After four months of crisis with the West, the war between Russia and Ukraine began this Thursday (24). Kiev and NATO (Western Military Alliance) called the action a total invasion. This is the most serious military crisis in Europe since the Second World War.
President Vladimir Putin said he would carry out a “special military operation” in the Donbass, the ethnic Russian-majority area in the east of the neighbour. His military command, however, confirmed that “precision weapons are degrading the military infrastructure, air bases and aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces”.
