As reported by several media outlets in Brazil, the teenager used a hammer to kill his adoptive parents, who had adopted him in 2014. A short time later, he left the house and went to eat with a friend. When he returned, he set fire to the room where the two bodies were. Next, call the fire department and the police.
According to a G1 report, the teenager told police he got into a fight with his parents because he was absent from school “to rest before a jiu jitsu class.”
A few days ago, Brazil was shocked by the revelation of another family tragedy. A 16-year-old boy in Sao Paulo shot and killed his adoptive parents and sister. The triple murder happened on May 17, but was revealed last Monday because the perpetrator stayed in the house with the bodies for three days. During this time, he was seen at the local bakery and at the gym.
Police were called by the 16-year-old, who “confessed to the crime”, a police spokesman said, adding that the alleged perpetrator said he was “disturbed” because his mobile phone had been taken from him after an argument.
