Suspect arrested – 2 of victims in critical condition
Three people were injured today in knife attack on the subway in the French city of Lyon, according to authorities.
A suspect has been arrested, a deputy mayor and the local prefecture said.
According to lefigaro, citizens who were near the Jean Jaurès metro station (7th) in Lyon, said that at 3.00 in the afternoon they saw a person wandering while his behavior was disturbing.
Moments later, the man pulled out a knife, injuring 3 of them, 2 critically.
Police are appealing to the public to follow police measures and avoid the area.

“Our thoughts are with the three injured,” Mohamed Chihi, deputy mayor in charge of security, wrote on Platform X.
There is no information yet on the identity of the attacker or his possible motive.
