A Moscow court fined an Iranian tourist 50,000 rubles under administrative protocol for defaming the Russian military.

The reason he was fined was that 30-year-old Iranian Hoshi Hidari appeared in a public place wearing a T-shirt with the coat of arms and flag of Ukraine, the “Judicial News” department of the RIA news agency reported.

Earlier, the Astra channel on Telegram reported that the thirty-year-old tourist from Iran was walking in the center of Moscow wearing a sweatshirt by Balenciaga – a charity organization in support of Ukraine – with tridents on the sleeves, and on the rest of the shirt there was the Ukrainian flag, the slogan “Glory to Ukraine” and a call to help Ukrainians.

The Iranian tourist was arrested and taken to the police station, where an administrative report was drawn up against him under the article on defamation of the Russian military. According to the case file, the tourist was fined shortly after his arrest.

As Radio Liberty reports, in the summer of 2022, Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia became the ambassador of the Ukrainian fundraising platform United24. The company created a sweatshirt in support of Ukraine. All the money from its sale is used to help refugees, as well as the program “Rehabilitation of Ukraine”, which continues the fight against Russian aggression.
