Acting Prime Minister of North Macedonia and leader of the right-wing party VMRO-DPMNE, Christian Mickoski, in his interview this evening on the most watched private TV station in Skopje “SITEL” said that at the inauguration of his government, which will take place during Weekend will use the constitutional name of the country (republic of North Macedonia).

He will use the same name in his contacts abroad with foreign leaders, as he said.

However, inside the country, both in his public appearances and in his statements, he will use the name “Macedonia”, because, as he said for himself, the name of his country and homeland is “Macedonia”.

Christian Mickoski, in his letter to the Speaker of the Parliament, uses the country’s constitutional name

The Acting Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Christian Mickoski, in his accompanying letter to the Speaker of the Parliament, Afrim Gassi, with the submission, today, to the Parliament, of the program and composition of his government, calls the country by its constitutional name , Republic of North Macedonia.

Christian Mickoski’s letter reads as follows:

“Dear Mr. Afrim Ghasi,

Based on article 90, paragraph 2 of the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia and article 117 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia, I submit to you the proposal for the composition and program of the government of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The parliamentary session to elect the new government, which will be led by Christian Mickoski’s right-wing VMRO-DPMNE party, will be held at noon on Saturday, and according to parliamentary rules, it can last up to two days.
