The debate continues today in its Parliament North Macedonia on the programmatic statements of the new government, which will be led by the right-wing party VMRO-DPMNE, with the leader of the party as prime minister, Christian Mickoski.
The session of the Parliament started yesterday Saturday and is expected to end late this evening, with the roll-call vote for the vote of confidence in the government and the swearing-in of the new members of the country’s cabinet.
Today’s session of the Parliament starts at 11:00 (local time, 12:00 Greek time).
Acting Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Christian Mickoski, during the reading of the new government’s programmatic statements, called the country “Macedonia” three times, without using its constitutional name.
Christian Mickoski stated a few days ago that in the inauguration of his government he will use the constitutional name of the country (s.s. Republic of North Macedonia).
In the new government of the country, which will be led by VMRO-DPMNEthe opposition Albanian coalition will also participate “Worth” and the newly formed Slavic party “I know“, of the mayor of Kumanovo, Maxim Dimitrievsky.
This three-party government will have the support of 78 MPs in the Parliament, out of the 120 that the Parliament has in total, and will have a comfortable parliamentary majority.
The new government in the country is formed after the parliamentary elections held in North Macedonia on May 8, in which the VMRO-DPMNE prevailed by a large margin.
