There is no place in the Brothers of Italy for racist or anti-Semitic positions. As there is no place for the totalitarianism of the twentieth century, said Georgia Meloni, revealing that within the youth of her party, there are anti-Semitic elements
The Italian prime minister Georgia Meloni took a stand, with direct reference to the investigation of the journalistic site Fanpage which revealed that within the youth of her party, Adelphia of Italy, there are antisemitic elements and nostalgic for him fascism.
“I have said it and repeated it dozens of times. In case it’s necessary, I’ll say it again: there is no place in the Brothers of Italy for racist or anti-Semitic positions. Just as there is no room for the totalitarianisms of the twentieth century and for any dumb, graphic expression.” wrote the Italian Prime Minister in a letter to the youth leaders of the party.
Referring to the same ever-vital topic, the Italian Prime Minister added:
“The parties of the right, from which many of us come, already several decades ago faced the past and twenty years of fascism. This is even more true for a newly born political movement such as ours. From its foundation, in fact, it chose to open up to political cultures compatible with ours and to accept people who came from political paths different from that of the historical right”.
“Our work is too great to allow anyone who has not understood its importance to destroy everything.” Meloni concluded.
