A 70-year-old man was murdered by his brother in his sleep in the village of Panarano near the town of Benevento in Lower Italy in an unimaginably gruesome manner.
The two brothers had argued and a few hours later, 57-year-old Benito murdered his unfortunate brother by beheading him.
Immediately afterwards he threw his head off the balcony of the house they were in.

The perpetrator was taken to the local police station, where he admitted his guilt.
The victim, after his recent retirement and the death of his wife, had decided to return to the village where he was born, hoping – as his friends said – to be able to spend a peaceful old age…
