What Russia’s Digital Attacks on Ukraine Show About Cyber ​​War; listen to podcast

Over the weekend, Russia’s offensive against Ukraine intensified. President Vladimir Putin moved heavier weapons to the neighboring country and Russian troops invaded Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city.

Another, quieter attack also worries experts: cyber warfare.

In recent days, Ukrainian government websites have gone offline. On Saturday (26), parts of the south and east of the country were without internet signal. Russia was also the target of attacks, claimed by the hacker group Anonymous, that took down 10 government-linked websites, including the Kremlin.
