Photos from what we would call the back stage from the NATO Summit
On Tuesday and Wednesday was held in Washington the Summit of NATO on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Alliance in 1949 with the “side camera” of photographers recording interesting moments, which could be considered to have “political resonance”.
The leaders of the 32 member states also took part in the so-called “family” photos. In the photos, we distinguish the cheerful mood of the American president Joe Biden, with his “fist” demonstrating determination, an “I made it”, in the wake of increasing pressure to give up the electoral race, or the… rare snapshot with Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan to smile
In the photos from the Synod, the “coexistence” of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with his new counterpart from North Macedonia stands out. Christian Mickoski. The two men look like “strangers in the same city”, while there is no photo from the agencies that shows them shaking hands. In the snapshots, the – once again – blosiri also stands out Georgia Meloni, unlike the justifiably cheerful Keir Starmer, who has just become British Prime Minister, met the US president and seems to be… enjoying the Summit and being with other leaders.
