A post on the occasion of the opening of the new gardens of the Natural History Museum was made by the princess of Wales Kate Middleton.

The Princess of Wales in a series of stories she posted on her official Instagram page salutes the “force of nature” which she says supports “our growth and well-being”.

“I am very supportive of the Museum’s commitment to creating a special space that will encourage people of all ages to reconnect with nature and learn more about how we can protect our natural world. I know the power of nature to support our growth and well-being, both by bringing us joy and helping us maintain physical, mental and mental health. I hope these gardens will be inspiring and transformative for the thousands of people who will visit them.” He wrote.

The gardens in central London opened to the public on Thursday and aim to support urban nature, scientific research and education and contain a brand new bronze dinosaur – a giant 22m Diplodocus.

It features two gardens – the Nature Discovery Garden and the Evolution Garden – spanning five acres that surround the museum’s South Kensington site and tell the story of the changing natural world.
