The president of the United States, Joe Biden, remains isolated at his home in Delaware, as he has tested positive for the coronavirus. However, he remains isolated from many in the Democratic party, as the questions, whether he should continue to remain a candidate, are increasing.

After his heartbreaking appearance during the debate of the American television network, CNN, in Atlanta, his age and health have been under the microscope for a month.

The signs that the American president is not in the position to to succeed in convincing voters that he can beat his opponent, Donald Trump – let alone remain president for another four years, they are growing.

Just in the last week, Joe Biden called the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, “President Putin”, while, when referring to Kamala Harris he called her “Vice President Trump.” The first mistake he corrected, but the second, perhaps, he didn’t even understand.

And as the days go by, the Democrats who believe that he cannot continue in the pre-election race are becoming more numerous.

He himself, while a few days ago he said that only God can convince him to abandon the pre-election campaign, two days ago he said that he will step aside only after… a doctor’s order. But, at the same time, he had set another condition, as he himself had said it was, “if they tell me there’s no way I can win.”

Reports now want him to lose Key States, such as Nevada, Georgia and Arizona and the climate within the Democrats is going from bad to worse.

According to a report by Axios, leading Democrats believe that pressure from Congress and close friends of the party will eventually convince the president to withdraw from the presidential race, even over the weekend.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer are stepping up their pressure, while the Obama side is not confirming (but does not deny) the report of the Washington Post that the former president of the country confided in his political allies that the chances of Biden’s electoral victory in the November presidential elections have decreased significantly and therefore the current president should seriously reconsider his candidacy.

The Biden staff believed that last weekend’s assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Pennsylvania would buy them time. Some even believed that the case was being shelved. But, in the end, the last two 24 hours show exactly the opposite.

While the Democrats are weakening, the Republicans are getting stronger with some of them even openly admitting that Biden should remain a candidate so that Trump can continue his election campaign without an opponent…
