The incidents have been sparked by a false rumor that the Southport primary school girls’ dance class killer is Syrian.
London, Thanasis Gavos
Serious incidents have sparked a second night of far-right elements in Britain over the crime against little girls in Southport on Monday during a dance class.
This time the incidents took place in London, outside the guarded gate of Downing Street. Those gathered there began throwing objects at the police, lit smoke bombs outside the prime minister’s residence and shouted slogans known among the far-right.

In the end, more than 100 arrests were made on charges of disturbing public order and attacking public order bodies.
Serious incidents between far-right activists and the police also took place in Manchester and mainly in the town of Hartlepool in NE England, where police officers were injured.
The second night of violence follows incidents in Southport on Tuesday night, when 500 members of far-right organizations gathered outside the local mosque. In the clashes with the police there, 53 police officers were injured.
The incidents have been sparked after a false rumor circulated widely on social media that the shooter at the primary school girls’ dance class in Southport was a Syrian who had arrived in Britain illegally by boat across the Channel.
The police have denied this rumour. The 17-year-old, who was born in Cardiff to Rwandan parents, has since Wednesday night been formally charged with murder and attempted murder. No connection to Islamic terrorism has been established.
Three girls, aged six, seven and nine, have succumbed to stab wounds.
The attacker injured eight more children, five of whom are still hospitalized in critical condition, as are two adults, one of whom is 35-year-old dance teacher Lian Lucas.
According to her relative, Ms. Lucas suffered extensive stab wounds to her upper limbs, back and neck while trying to shield some girls with her body, while she had earlier hidden two girls in a warehouse. However, he has regained contact with the environment.
The 17-year-old will appear before a prosecutor in Liverpool later in the day.
