The Turkish press refers to information according to which an American delegation went to Iran. Turkey part of a bigger war?

Turkish society is watching with bated breath the developments in the Middle East that are now reaching its borders. The cabinet is meeting today under President Erdogan with the central theme being the situation in the Middle East. At the same time, the US appears confident that Iran will respond to Israel, and in fact the head of American diplomacy reportedly informed his counterparts in the G7 group that the Iranian attack could begin today.

In the meantime, today’s Turkish press is reporting in a secret visit last Thursday by an American delegation who secretly traveled to Iran via Turkey. In the meeting with the Iranians, the Americans reportedly warned of Netanyahu’s bellicose intentions.

The bombshell news was first published by Kuwait’s Al-Jeridah newspaper citing high-ranking Iranian officials. According to the newspaper the American delegation traveled to Tehran by private jet and officials from the two countries held a two-hour meeting. The Americans reportedly told the Iranians that Netanyahu wants a major regional war. He wants to destroy Iran and shared his war plans with the Jewish lobby during his last visit to Washington.

Netanyahu reportedly told his interlocutors that it was time for a major war in the Middle East involving not only Israel, the US and Iran, but also all the countries of the region, including Turkey. And that when the war is over and they sit down at the table again, everyone will recognize Israel.

The Cuban newspaper article adds that the Americans told the Iranian delegation that the White House administration does not want to fight Iran, she is not happy at all with Netanyahu and that they have to defend Israel if Iran attacks, but they don’t want a big war from Tehran. With the Turkish president’s statement that Turkey could invade Israel still fresh, there is intense concern over whether the latest developments could involve Ankara in a confrontation with Israel that will not be limited to words.
